Ignatian Services Food Pantry Hours Wednesday: 2pm to 4pm Friday: 10am to 12pm The Ignatian Services Mission... Ignatian Services is the Social service expression of the Faith Community of St. Ignatius Church in Rogers park. its Purpose is to provide assistance to those members of our neighborhood who are in need. Ignatian services does not discriminate. The primary ministry of Ignatian Services is the distribution of food through our food pantry. We strive to develop new programs to help the disadvantaged members of our community to lead healthy lives-- body and soul. Together, out volunteers, benefactors, parishioners, and clients form a community. This is why we say that WE ARE ALL IGNATIAN SERVICES. Our Programs... On Thanksgiving Day, Ignatian Services and many dedicated volunteers from the Parish feed over 100 needy individuals a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings in St. Ignatius' Holy Name Room. In December, 100 families from our Rogers Park Community receive holiday gifts for their children under the age of 18, and a gift for the whole family to share together. This Holiday Gift program, our "Giving Tree," is made possible through the generosity of our parishioners, who donate new, unwrapped toys for our gift shop. In addition, over 200 families receive special holiday food baskets including whole turkeys, hams, of chickens, depending on the size of their household. Fundraising... Ignatian Services has many fundraising drives throughout the year, and we accept donations of non perishable food items, diapers, toiletry items (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes), and plastic grocery bags year round. Your financial support is also always needed!
